Nazareth Academy Green Roof Installation

Located in LaGrange, Illinois, Nazareth Academy is a private college preparatory high school. 

March, 2008: The Green Home Experts team designs and installs a 720 sq. ft. green roof that students and staff can enjoy from several different viewpoints within the school.

About
A green roof, sometimes called a planted roof, utilizes native plant species that are beneficial to the environment and require little maintenance or watering.  Green roofs provide safe, healthy habitats for birds, improve air quality, and effectively manage storm water.  They are also known to reduce heating and cooling costs because of the insulation they provide.  For more information about green roofs, or to discuss future projects, please contact us.
